How old is old enough to start watching Doctor Who? Empty How old is old enough to start watching Doctor Who?

I'm babysitting my 5 and 3 year old cousins tomorrow, and wanted to bring some Doctor Who DVDs to entertain them (and, I admit, to corrupt them just a tiny bit), but wondered if maybe they're too young? I know Doctor Who can have doctor who dvds some scary themes, and don't want to freak the poor kids out. The only seasons I have on DVD are 2, 5, 6 part 1, and some weird cartoony Doctor Who and Martha adventure DVD. Thoughts?
