Pes Cavus Problems
High insteps run in my family and I haven't escaped this hereditary condition, along with quite curled-under toes on both feet.
I remember my late father suffering greatly with foot pain and practically 'giving up' on walking in his mid 50's, eventually succumbing to various medical conditions associated with a sedentary lifestyle, many of which might have been avoidable if he'd continued to be active.
So far, I've managed to reach my 40s with relatively little trouble, apart from more than my fair share of achilles tendon episodes, but recently I've noticed general achiness and stiffness in both feet, particularly in the mornings, and my toes seem to be more curled than I'd previously noticed. Im also getting occasional intermittent pain in my calves and knees.
